ATEE Spring Conference in Riga 7-8th June 2019

CALL FOR PAPERS

Proposals for papers/presentation at the conference may be submitted in three categories:

  • empirical research
  • theoretical study
  • practitioner presentation

YOU ARE INVITED TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS:
  • for oral presentation of papers
  • for poster sessions

Abstract should have a title. You have to mention the author’s/authors name and surname and e-mail of contacting author.

The abstract should be no more than 400 words. In addition, the abstract should be structured clearly, indicating: the theoretical framework, the research/study design, the methods or instruments, the description of the experience, etc. You have to include 3 – 5 key words.

Abstracts are requested to be sent no later than 30th of April 2019 via e-mail: ATEE.Spring.2019@gmail.com

Information about acceptance or rejection of abstract will be sent to author no later than 15th of May 2019

The submitted contributions should be original, i.e., they should not be previously published or submitted for publication in other editions.

Full articles should be submitted after conference - till 30th of June. They will be handed in to the Editorial Board for reviewing and consideration for publication.

TYPES OF PRESENTATIONS

Papers: Paper presentations should be planned for about 20 minutes in length.

Poster sessions: Presenters will prepare posters and handouts that describe their research or projects. Attendees may move from display to display and engage in discussion with the presenters.

LENGTH OF ARTICLE

The total length of the text of a submitted manuscript should not exceed 8,000 words (preferably between 4,000-8,000 words).

ARRANGEMENT OF ARTICLE:

All Authors are asked to write on the first page of a article:

  • - Author's name and surname
  • - Affiliation
  • - E-mail address

Articles should be typed in Times New Roman (12 pt.) with normal space.

STRUCTURE OF ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ORGANISATION OF ARTICLE:

Articles in English may be up to 8 - 10 pages including abstract up to 400 words and bibliography.

The article should be typewritten in A4 format, set in one column according to the following parameters: margins – 2.5 cm, text editor – MS Word, Times New Roman, font number 12, spaces between lines – Single, layout – Justified. Each paragraph should start with a 1.5 cm indention. Pages, tables and pictures should be numbered and named. Tables and pictures should be in black and white (if this does not interfere with the possibility to perceive the content) with captions. Tables and pictures must be cited in the text, e.g., (see Table 1); Arabic numbering should be used. The size of tables and pictures should not exceed A4 format page.

AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ARTICLE THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE MENTIONED:

Title of the article (Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold, centred), author's name, surname (Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, centred), institution that submits the article, address, e-mail address (10 pt, Normal).

Abstract (Times New Roman, 10 pt, un to 50 words), 3-6 Keywords (Times New Roman, 10 pt).

Body of the article: Introduction, Aim of the Study, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions. The articles are requested to be (Times New Roman, 12 pt, Normal).

References should be indicated in the typescript by giving the author's name, with the year of publication in parentheses (Brown, 2005) or (Brown, 2005, 67).

Bibliography (Times New Roman Bold, 10 pt, Normal).

APA Style should be used

INFORMATION ABOUT THE AUTHOR/ AUTHORS

At the end of article there should be short information about autho/authors (up to 500 characters).

  2. Scientific value.
  3. Methodology.
  4. Research results and discussion.
  5. The references are indicated according to APA style.
  6. The language and logic of the content of the manuscript.
  7. The authors are responsible for quality of English language. If necessary, materials should be professionaly eddited
